Apple Watch 9 Double Tap feature can work in Watch SE

As you may be aware, Apple recently unveiled its latest flagship, the Apple Watch Series 9, with a notable focus on the DOUBLE TAP feature as a significant enhancement in its product lineup. However, it’s worth mentioning from an ethical perspective that this DOUBLE TAP feature has actually been a part of the Apple Watch ecosystem for the past three years. In fact, the following Apple Watch models have already incorporated this feature:

  • Apple Watch SE
  • Apple Watch SE 2
  • Apple Watch 6
  • Apple Watch 7
  • Apple Watch 8

Interestingly, despite these capabilities, it’s important to note that none of the above-mentioned watches are currently carbon-neutral friendly 😅. The decision of whether to upgrade to the Apple Watch Series 9 for its minor features (particularly if you’re already a part of the Apple Watch ecosystem) or consider the earlier models available at discounted prices is entirely up to you.

To help you get started, here’s a quick guide on how to enable the DOUBLE TAP feature on your Apple Watch SE, Apple Watch 6, Apple Watch 7, and Apple Watch 8.

Open the Watch app on your iPhone and Select Accessibility

Scroll Down and Select AssistiveTouch

Make sure to enable AssistiveTouch

Now click on Hand Gestures

Now you can customize gestures
