New Changes To Location Targeting in Google Ads

Every day Google ads team is thriving to make their platform simpler for marketers to kick-start their campaigns in a smoother way. To make your campaign more effective, Google has notified its advertisers about the removal of the low-adopted target option in the LBM campaignSearch interest: People searching for your target locations

The idea behind removing this particular target option is not because of the low adoption rate but also because marketers were not using this more effectively due to low result-driven campaign performances. In a recent announcement, Google said this move was done after carefully testing the changes with a closed group of advertisers.

With all these changes still, advertisers will be able to use the target option PRESENCE OR INTEREST which works better with campaign goals and all these changes align to improve the target experience for marketers and advertisers. The changes are expected to reflect on the Google ads account in the initial weeks of March. So marketers, kindly plan your LBM campaigns accordingly.
